- I am a Textile Design student at the University of Leeds and I plan to use this blog to share my interests and inspirations as well as some of my own work. Reflected light will need definition. Are you going to use silk to capture reflections from pearl?

I would like to see this step by step as a work in progress to be able to see the progression to the finished artefact. Are you going to use embellishment as well as stitching to enhance texture and definition ?

That's a good idea, I will take photos of the process! I don't have long to do it, but I may try some applique/embellishment. It is only half of the painting to focus on the headscarf detail -mainly because I can't draw faces!. I will have a go at this tomorrow.
