Semester Two

I have decided to continue with Knit as my specialism and am actually very excited about the new project. Having been given the title 'Journeys' , I have begun researching into the physical and emotional journeys of soldier's at war. I think one could say that war is a journey in itself. But when a war is over, is the journey over?
I have many ideas about printing onto knit, felting knit and incorporating poetry by poets such as Lord Alfred Tennyson into my designs.

Here is one of the videos that I came across at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. I am interested in the way that the arrows travel across the sky. I have tried to illustrate this alongside printed poetry and I will relate the movement of the arrows to the structure of knit.
